Prachi Desai and Tusshar Kapoor had a wild time shooting for a song for Life Partner. A source reveals, "A song had to be shot in a cage and Prachi and Tusshar were supposed to be locked up inside with cheetahs! Although the cats were calm, Prachi was petrified.

Finally they allowed her to play with the felines for a while and shot only after she became comfortable with them." Now let's see if Prachi can handle the Bolly cats. Meow!

Ek finally sees light of day

The first copy of Sangeeth Sivan's long completed Ek - The Power of One starring Bobby Deol and Nana Patekar was recently taken to Shirdi for blessings. The production house K Sera Sera will be reviving itself with Ek, which is set against the hustle-bustle of the Mumbai crime scene. Apart from Ek, K Sera Sera will also release Chala Chal and Kis Kisse Pyaar Karoon. Best of luck for the second innings...

Kat elated

Katrina Kaif has been nominated for the Best Indian award by a TV channel. Kat is the only actress from Bollywood to get nominated for it this year and the second female after President Pratibha Patil. In the past, the only other actress from B-town to get a nomination was Aishwarya Rai. Katrina says, "It is just such a great honour to be even considered to be in the same league as these great achievers.

Living up London

Amitabh Bachchan kept his promise to Akshay Kumar and showed up at the London premiere of Chandni Chowk to China on Monday night to support the actor and film's cast and crew at Leicester Square. It seemed to be quite a chilly evening with everyone arriving all covered up. Amitabh is in London for make-up tests for Balki's Pa ('CC2C invite for Big B'; HiTLIST, Jan 14) and so was able to attend. Wonder if he heeded Akki's warning to leave his brains behind, though!
