Bips gets manly!

Guess Bips is one of them. She will be announced as its brand ambassador at an event this evening. The actress has specially flown in to Mumbai from Goa where she is shooting for All The Best.

Yesterday, she also shot for a baggage commercial. Most of these endorsements are courtesy, Carving Dreams, who handle her endorsements. With beau John Abraham endorsing several products, can Bips be far behind?

Jail ka khel khatam

Madhur Bhandarkar is almost done shooting for Jail. A source from the unit reveals, "Yesterday was the last day of principal shooting.

It was a marathon shoot and this is the quickest film Madhur has ever shot. It was an emotional moment for everyone on sets (40 actors and 300 junior artistes).

Says Madhur, "I am elated and at the same time, sad that this schedule got over so quickly. This shoot was one of the most memorable."

Madhuri's big day

Today is Madhuri Dixit's birthday and the US-based actress will be with hubby Dr Sriram Nene and her kids on her janamdin.

Buzz in B-Town is that she has been approached for Prakash Jha's filmu00a0 but her manager dismissed it off as a mere rumour.

Meanwhile Jha maintains, "Madhuri is neither working in Rajneeti nor am I planning any film with her." Why? Not good enough for Mads, Mr Jha?

But now, he is no longer part of the project. A Bandra birdie tells us that Rekha was also approached for the project and her denial to be part of it created problems and resulted in his exit.

Bhatt confirms, "Yes, Naveed is not a part of the film." That's what you call being Re'd!

Dharma ka karma

Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has been slapped with a $150,000 lawsuit in Philadelphia, US for allegedly failing to pay several local actors and vendors for their Saif-Kareena starrer directed by Rensil D'Silva.

The lawsuit cites breach of contract by Dharma and its partner Swish Films of Melbourne. The lawsuit seeks in excess of $150,000 for unpaid services and expenses for 25 vendors hired.

The dispute began when a Swish producer sent out cheques in late December which bounced. Apoorva Mehta, CEO, Dharma Productions, clarifies, "We hired Swish as line producers.

We are as much the victims as the people who haven't been paid. We remitted all the funds as and when required and have clear statements of accounts to prove that we are not in the wrong.

We don't owe anybody any money and we have signed letters from them saying they were responsible for not paying people." Okay, if you say so!

Papa ke paas

Abbas Tyrewala rushed from Chennai to Mumbai on Wednesday. The Jaane Tu director's father had to undergo a bypass surgery.

A source reveals, "Abbas was in the midst of his music for his next 1-800 Love Story in Chennai and had to fly back. He will be in town for two days."

Anuj online hai

His next outing will be Jagmohan Mundra's Chase, which pairs him with Udita Goswami. He's also producing the flick.
