Italy butterly delicious

What do you do if you are tired of shooting and too bored to be able to think creatively? If you are a celebrity, you head to Italy. Well that's what Purab Kohli did when he was craving for a break. The actor and TV host shares a few pages of his travelogue with CS:

Coast toast
The first half of the year was very hectic. I had been shooting back-to-back and desperately needed to get away and relax. My mum had rented a place on the Amalfi coast and I just decided to go and join her. Ten days in Positano with my family and a few days in Caprice served as the perfect break. We visited many places along the Coast from Positano to Amalfi. And that was the most beautiful experience ever. Even if had nothing to do, I would be happy sitting down and taking in the scenery of Positano.

On a platter
My trip was full of long walks, great food and wine. Being a foodie who particularly loves the Italian fare, this trip couldn't have been better. Italian food in Italy is something else. It's not just food anymore, it's an experience! I was very close to Napoli, the big city where the Pizza comes from. Spending two-three days in Caprice was great. It's a small place that makes for a great weekend get-away.

Local focus
I absolutely loved interacting with the locals and getting a feel of their cultureu00a0-- with their anecdotes, folklore and their spirit. The Italians I met made my trip truly special. I envy their philosophy of life. They live in a beautiful land and they don't compromise on lifeu00a0-- they live well, eat well and drink well! Now that I'm back to the grind in Mumbai, I really envy them.
