After playing kitchen politics for quite some time, popular female TV characters of a channel will soon fight with each other in a new show Kitchen Champion, which is to go on air next month.

The 12 ladies gear up for the ramp walk

When CS visited the sets of the upcoming show, the 12 ladies were abuzz with excitement. Although the shoot is a little delayed because of the late entry of Aarti Singh aka Mughda, the others were busy with their lines.

The mother-daughter duo of Bhairavi Raichura and Avika Gaur (of Balika Vadhu) are looking forward to the show. "We hardly get the time to cook in the kitchen with our hectic schedules. So, this is going to be fun," said Bhairavi. At the other end, Meghna Mallik aka Ammaji was busy rehearsing her lines and expressions. So, it was not surprising when the director applauded her.

On the other hand, anchor-host Ronit Roy had butterflies in his stomach. "This is the first time I am going to host a full fledged show. Frankly, I am more nervous than excited. Every time I saw my co-actors hosting shows, I felt that it was a tough job.

As an actor, you need to remember your lines, but as a host you have to be witty all the time. I don't know the ladies personally, so it will be fun interacting with them. I can cook a bit, so I hope to share some tips with them," says Ronit.
