Maanayata Dutt is running around planning what she hopes to make the most happening filmy bash of 2009. The party is to mark her first wedding anniversary on the February 11.
Says a source close to the Dutts, "Maanayata has gone through a lot in one year of marriage. She has faced flak from within Sanjay's family and from outside.
She has been called a gold-digger and an opportunist. With this party, she wants to establish her position as Mrs Dutt.
Keeping it personal
She's personally inviting everyone who's someone in the industry. Couples who have already received calls and/or text messages from Mrs Dutt include Sunil-Mana Shetty, John-Bipasha, Ajay-Kajol, Lara-Dino, Zayed- Malaika and Fardeen-Natasha.
Everyone from Akshaye Khanna to Kunal Khemu has said yes. Saif-Kareena will be shooting in Delhi and have already sent their apologies and regards."u00a0
Though the anniversary is on the 11th, Maana has organised the party a day earlier as Sanju leaves for Bangkok the next day for next schedule of Soham Shah's Luck.
Sanjay Dutt is both delighted and dismayed when informed that the whole industry is buzzing with excitement about the party.
He says, "Maanayata meant it to be a surprise party for me. But I found out. I'm really looking forward to it since it's a celebration of a year of our togetherness. I want all our friends to be there tonight."
