"I usually just sing on the stage. But I enjoyed playing the role of a villain extremely," Manasi said here. "I hope that a certain stereotype gets broken... that there are villains, heroes, heroines and that we be looked at just as actors."
"And I hope that more glamorous actors start doing negative roles. I hope it's all about acting and not about whether you're a heroine or a villain."
Manasi, who is also a radio jockey, has featured in films "Jhootha Hi Sahi" and "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu".
"Bhaag Johnny", directed by Shivamm Nair, released on Friday.
The Silk Road film fest has signed cooperative agreements with Busan International Film Festival, Moscow International Film Festival, Hawaii International Film Festival.
