Bayttaab Dil Kee Tammana Hai on Sony TV is about three girlsu00a0- Kanchan, Shamoli and Kakon, who leave their hometown Siliguri to come to Mumbai to earn money. Since the girls have practically no money, their brother Raju convinces them to go to Mumbai in a truck. And to their horror, the truck arrives in a Mumbai's red light area.

And like any other migrant in the city of dreams, they start facing a lot of problems. The serial so far has shown how these girls mange to escape from the red light area and sleep on a footpath. They are however shooed away by the local beggars. After which, they fall in the hands of Pakya, a beggar who pretends to be blind to earn money. They beg him to let them stay in his basti and now the drama beings to unfoldu00a0- Pakya's atrocities on the girls.

Though born to the same parents, the serials main conflict is about the Kanchan, Shamoli and Kakon's different characters and their equally different ambitions.




Sumana Das as Shamoli. Far from pretty in the traditional sense, this sultry siren is ambitious, brazen, bold and a bully. She is aggressive, bold,u00a0 outspoken and tends to throw caution to the wind


Pragati Chourasia as Kakon is the youngest of the three sisters. She is pampered and cared by her sisters. Kakon adores her sisters and stands by them. Together they dream of earning a living in mumbai
