Neil Nitin Mukesh is a man of action. Well, literally. While shooting for a film recently, a bunch of metal pipes fell on Neil's hands. He fractured his fingers, but chose not to bring the shoot to a halt. He shot with the injury for the entire day supporting his fractured finger with a cello tape and a stick. And he'll tell you that he draws inspiration from some of his favourite action heroes. He lists some of them:
Angry young man
Amitabh Bachchan is one man whose expression does it all. The most difficult thing for an actor is to enact pain because we don't relate to that pain while we are shooting. Bachchanji pulls it off with ufffdlan. My favourite scene is from the original Don, where the actual don dies in a car accident. Such a masterpiece!
Quickgun Devgn
Ajay Devgn has emerged as an action hero. I have been his fan ever since Jigar released. With Singham he has proved his genius in the genre, yet again.
The bhai
One actor I am glad has joined the dishum dishum bandwagon is Salman Khan. His body and personality is just perfect for such roles.
Khiladi Kumar
How can I forget Akshay Kumar? His body, mind and soul are perfectly fit for action. And he does all those dangerous stunts himself.
Deol dhamal
Sunny Deol is a living legend as far as action is concerned. From Ghayal to Gadar he just rocks.
