Mani Ratnam has finally responded to Amitabh Bachchan's allegations in a Tamil weekly.
Incidentally, after the release of the film, the Big B had blogged about how a lot of merited film was edited out, resulting in inconsistent narrative and performances.
When asked what he thought of the remarks, Mani didn't hold back and said, "That is his opinion. I am not bothered about it. And I am not here in the industry to get marks from Amitabh Bachchan. We have made a film after two years of hard work. Anyone can comment on it."
Ranbir opts out
We wonder if it's because of the Raavan debacle, but Ranbir Kapoor has politely declined Mani Ratnam's next. The veteran filmmaker had approached Ranbir with his script, but the latter kept delaying his decision to be a part of the film. Recently, RK conveyed his inability to be a part of the project. There was buzz that Imran too was approached for the film, however sources reveal that apart from Ranbir no other actor was being considered.
