Of snorkeling and soccer

I went to Maldives in June this year. We loved the islands' lovely beaches, colonial history and local flavour. I love sports like snorkeling. I learnt snorkeling in the Maldives.

The islands have breathtaking coral reefs that are a treat for the eyes. I stayed in a water villa that was right on the sea. During my school and college days, I used to play football.u00a0

In fact, I participated in around 25 national-level football tournaments. Though it might sound vain but people called me the David Beckham of Ujjain as I used to wear the same jersey number seven and copied his hairdo.

I would love to meet him some time. I was depressed and very disheartened when he retired. u00a0
