Older and wiser

There was a time when my favourite author was PG Wodehouse. I was fascinated by his unique style of writing.

I don’t know why but I don’t find him funny anymore. Maybe it’s because I’m growing older. I’ve since discovered Anthony Burgess and Evelyn Waugh. I’m reading Burgess and I believe, along with Wodehouse, he’s probably the greatest writer of the English language.
