>>u00a0Michael Gerard 'Mike' Tyson holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF world heavyweight titles. Tyson successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship title nine times.

>>u00a0In 1992, Tyson went to jail as he was convicted of raping Desiree Washington.u00a0 After his release in 1995, he engaged in a series of comeback fights. In 1997, he bit off Evander Holyfield's ear in a match, which made news all over the world.

>>u00a0Tyson declared bankruptcy in 2003, despite receiving over US$30 million for several of his fights and $300 million during his career.

>>u00a0Tyson spent his childhood in a high-crime locality. By the age of 13, he was arrested 38 times. His boxing ability was discovered by Bobby Stewart in a juvenile detention center.

>>u00a0On June 12, 2011, Tyson was inducted to the International Boxing Hall of Fame, alongside legendary Mexican champion Julio C ufffdsar Ch vez, light welterweight champion Kostya Tszyu, and actor/screenwriter Sylvester Stallone.
