Is busy with her IB exams, says her mother, explaining her absence from B-Town

Hansikaa has been missing from B-Town for a while. The Aap Kaa Surroor actress was last seen in the utterly forgettable Money Hai To Honey Hai in mid-2008. 
She was unrecognisable at a recent event till someone mentioned who she was.
The actress appears to have taken recourse to a lot of beauty enhancing treatments that has made her look all grown up and different.
Her mother, however, states that the actress has been keeping away from the arclights of late because of her studies.
"She is studying for her Class 12 International Baccalaureate (IB) programme at Podar International School, Santa Cruz."
Moreover in the last few months the actress has also shifted home from MHADA at Four Bungalows to Shastri Nagar, near Lokhandwala.
Doing it all
Her mother, who normally speaks on her behalf, says, "Hansikaa is extremely busy with her IB exams. She is determined to complete her education along with acting.
She hopes to complete her graduation too."
About her new home she says, "We had a row house in the MHADA area and security was a major concern. Now we stay in a highrise on the ninth floor with ample security."
Hansikaa has featured in the Telugu film Maska and was earlier seen in the Tamil film Kantri and a Kannada film Bindaas. She had also won a major South film award as the Best Debutant for the Telugu film Desamuduru.
So is the actess looking at a career down South? "There are films in Bollywood but she can't talk about them now. Right now it is only studies for her," adds her mom.
