Veteran actor Paresh Rawal managed to pique the curiosity of cinephiles when images of him in the get up of Sunil Dutt began to surface online last month. Rawal, who plays the role of the late actor in Rajkumar Hirani's upcoming Sanjay Dutt biopic, is set to feature alongside Ranbir Kapoor for the first time. "Ranbir has a talent that is unique" says Rawal of the 34-year-old, who frontlines the biopic. "He is simply superb, among the finest in our country. His dedication towards his work is amazing. I have become a big admirer and I don't think anyone could have played the part better."

Even though Rawal has featured alongside 57-year-old Dutt in many films, his interaction with the actor's father has been limited. "I only met Sunilji a couple of times and interacted with him briefly during the 1993 Mumbai riots. But, I am aware that he was a fine human being," he says, adding that he hopes to bring credibility to his part by understanding the man from the script that has been handed to him. "I've got a detailed script that has been written by Abhijat Joshi and Raju (Hirani). It's a huge challenge to play the character. I hope to do a good job."

Rawal's upcoming comedy, Ashwni Dhir's 'Guest iin London', pairs him alongside young talents, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Kharbanda. He admits that this project is among the few that piques his interest. "It is a clean family comedy with an emotional and subtle message. It doesn't have double-meaning jokes and we aren't sacrificing our character to evoke laughter. I love working with Kartik and Kriti. The young actors teach me a lot."
