Party hearty

On Wednesday evening, Roli Books launched Harinder Baweja's book titled, 26/11 Mumbai Attacked. Later the same night the unlikely combination of Imran Khan and Farhan and Zoya Akhtar lent their voices to the 200th adaptation of The Vagina Monologues at NCPA and were spotted at the after party at Olive, Mahalaxmi.

(I haven't seen a whole lot of Zoya in the spotlight but she strikes me as a very sharp cookie with one hell of a sense of humour.) Thursday night witnessed Shiamak Davar dancing up a storm at the Taj Lands End launching his fun fitness routine.

Fashion week and its after parties are the flavour of the weekend, but even party perennial Kishen Mulchandani (who is usually in the loop) was pretty mystified (and slightly frazzled) about the who, what and when of designer parties citing that the only thing for sure was Anil and Sabina Chopra's finale bash on March 31.

Last night, Ravi Krishnan and Bandana Tewari hosted cocktails at the Grand Hyatt for supermodel Naomi Campbell and tonight Queenie Dhody (probably keen to have something other than her high profile personal affairs splashed across tabloids) along with hotelier Vikram Chatwal is having a party at China House for Naomi once again.

(Naomi is in town for a 'Fashion for Relief' benefit show at Fashion Week which is another tribute to 26/11 victims)

Back in action: Speaking of Fashion Week, Carol Gracias who's sworn off this particular ramp ruckus ever since
her unfortunate wardrobe malfunction at India Fashion Week last year has been off the radar for sometime now but was spotted at a recent channel launch looking very prim and proper (and ever so slightly blue.)
