Prateik, who played a school football player in Dum Maaro Dum, is also a cricket enthusiast. He is keen to participate in the next season of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) initiated by Sohail Khan. 
He is now planning to meet Salman Khan soon, to ensure a place for him in the Mumbai Heroes team for the next tournament.
Our source further informed that Prateik is a pretty good pace bowler and was upset that he couldn't make it to the first edition of CCL this year.
When contacted, Prateik confirmed his plans of approaching Salman. 
"Not many know that I was a fast bowler for my school team. I've played cricket in the inter-school tournaments and also at the state level," recalled the actor, enthusing, "So I'd really like to play for Salman's team."
Considering that Mumbai Heroes, led by Sunil Shetty, couldn't make it to the finals this year, here's hoping Prateik's pace bowling helps them the next time.
