He may have addressed his rumoured girlfriend as 'marriage material' but Ranveer Singh, with his infectious ebullient demeanor, is the perfect recipe for a great friend. To match him wit-by-wit is his bestie, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, and the duo were the latest, and last, to share the couch on the finale episode of a popular chat show.
It was little work and a lot of play that dominated the discussion, with the buddies, who first bonded on the sets of Akhtar's family-drama, 'Dil Dhadakne Do', starring Singh, walking down memory lane of their short, but rather strong friendship.
Ranveer, who is usually cordial, even playful with his admirers, spilled the beans on an incident which almost had a fan punched. "These camera phones are the weirdest bit about being a celebrity," he stated, as though clarifying his stance before making his revelation.
"I was once at a five-star hotel and I was taking a piss in the stall and this guy was taking a high definition video of me taking a piss! I turned around and almost punched him in the face; I was like Dude what are you doing!" We don't know how that one ended, but the once unabashed Ranveer surely knows how to handle stardom and its flips, more adeptly.
Ranveer, who claimed that romance comes to him "naturally because I am that kind of a person", went on to give his fans a sneak peek into his amorous side. "I do something romantic everyday," he confessed, without taking names.
"I mean I cook for her... I do striptease!" he blushed. Do you think the brazen actor could have ever drunk-dialed an ex? "I don't drink, and so I have never drunk-dialed an ex! I drink coffee," he confessed. Ranveer will apparently reunite with Zoya for her next, 'Gully Boys'.
