Richa Chadha finds herself in a peculiar situation. Two of her films -- Sudhir Mishra's DaasDev and Arjun Mukerjee's 3 Storeys -- are slated to release on February 16. Though the films deal with different subjects, the box office clash is making her jittery. Chadha says, "I am nervous and excited. An actor does not usually have two films releasing on the same day. I hope I can do justice to the two projects. I don't want the audience to get sick of me."

DaasDev is a modern-day take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's classic novel, Devdas. The romantic thriller stars Chadha as Paro, Aditi Rao Hydari as Chandni and Rahul Bhat as Dev. It is set in the hinterlands against the backdrop of politics. 3 Storeys, which has Chadha feature alongside Pulkit Samrat, Sharman Joshi and Renuka Shahane, chronicles three parallel stories of people living in the same building. It is a story of love and betrayal.

Says an insider, "The films' plots are different, yet overlapping. In such a scenario, the clash could harm the actor. Besides being unable to capitalise on her films individually, it will also be difficult for Chadha to promote the two simultaneously. She might request one of the producers to budge, but that's a concern to be dealt with later."
