Riteish Deshmukh will be seen playing the role of an amateur thief in his upcoming film 'Bank Chor'. Little do we know that the 'Chor' himself was robbed.
Riteish, who is promoting his upcoming comic caper 'Bank Chor' exclusively told mid-day that he was robbed in Rome. He said, "I was shooting for 'Housefull' in Italy. Being an architect, I always wanted to visit Colosseum and other places of architectural importance in Rome. So the cast and crew of 'Housefull' decided to visit Rome. Before going there we were issued a travel advisory saying that we should be careful, as there were several cases of mugging there."
Riteish Deshmukh further added, "So I put my money in my front pockets to be on the safer side. Whilst me and Lara Dutta were walking on the roads, a lady along with kids came out of nowhere and started patting my back. I turned around and they were gone and I realized that my pockets were empty. I was mugged without even realizing it."
His co-star Vivek Oberoi chuckled and said, "We are releasing a tutorial for 'Chors' in the form of 'Bank Chor', so that they know how to do a robbery and get away with it."
