After shooting in Diu for over two weeks, Sanjay Dutt was craving for home-cooked food.

He chartered a private jet and flew home for just a day and back to have some ghar ka khana and spend time with wifey Maanayata and the twins.

Their babies Shahran and Iqra also turned seven month old on May 21, so it was a celebration of sorts, says a source. Dutt is in Diu shooting for Karan Johar's Agneepath.

Says an insider from the sets, "Sanju loves food cooked by Maanayata. These days he's on a weight-control diet and Maana makes sure his food is light and less oily.

On Saturday afternoon, when director Karan Malhotra gave Sanju a day off as he was moping around, he immediately chartered an aircraft for home.

The food fest didn't end there. "Sanju spent the Sunday with his family and flew back to Diu the same night, but not before bringing packed cartons of the foodu00a0 with him."

Dutt's spokesperson confirms that he had flown in for a day on a private aircraft to spend time with his family.
