If you remember Govinda and Karisma Kapoor's brilliant performances in the original Coolie No 1, you know that Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan have some pretty big shoes to fill. Directed by David Dhawan once again, the new Coolie No 1 will see Varun playing the coolie, while Sara will play his love interest.

Sara Ali Khan recently shared a cute photo of herself with Varun Dhawan in his coolie garb, sitting in a train station. She wrote, "Cool and Coolie" along with the image.

Doesn't Sara look absolutely stunning in her all-white ensemble and minimal makeup? Fresh as a daisy! Varun, on the other hand, looks seeped into his character, and we can't wait to see the magic these two stars make on-screen.

The original film had a stellar cast of Kader Khan and Shakti Kapoor, and the remake will have Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav, who are brilliant too. Talking about the remake, in an interview with IANS, David Dhawan said, "After re-watching the original, I started working on the script. For six months, I wondered if I should make it or not. Finally, I decided to adapt it. It's actually a new film. I've worked on it for almost a year with the original writer Rumi Jaffery on the screenplay and Farhad Samji on the dialogue."

Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, the remake will release on May 1, 2020.
