Set to be seen alongside Vicky Kaushal's brother Sunny in Bhangra Paa Le, Shriya Pilgaonkar recently learnt to play the dhol to do justice to her part of a spirited Punjabi music aficionado. "It's always exciting to get opportunities that have me challenge myself and learn a new skill. I wanted to be authentic with my portrayal of Nimmo, a Punjabi girl of the 1940s, and one who loves music. We have a song in the film which sees me play the dhol, and I thought it important to be absolutely comfortable [with the instrument]. I enjoyed the practice sessions," says the actor, whose recent slate of projects included web series like Mirzapur and Beecham House.
