Newbies Kartik Tiwari and Nushrat Bharucha had a tough time shooting in Manali
Newbies Kartik Tiwari and Nushrat Bharucha (who featured in Pyaar Ka Punchnama last year) will now be seen in Luv Ranjan’s upcoming rom-com. The youngsters were required to do a 15-feet high slide stunt in Himachal Pradesh without any harness or cable wires during the shoot.

Initially, Nushrat, who is extremely sensitive to cold, was apprehensive of doing the scene without any harness. Kartik, on the other hand, was totally geared-up and was ready to take on the plunge given his adventurous nature. He assured her that she would be able to pull it off and that he would be there right next to her, throughout the shoot.
Says a unit source, “The shoot was in Solang Valley in Manali. The two were minutes away from shooting the scene when Nushrat gave in to a very severe frostbite. Though this delayed the shoot for sometime, she prepared herself and gave the shot in just two takes.”u00a0Adds the source, “She was heard telling the team that it was nothing like she had imagined. In fact, it felt more like a joy ride and she wanted to do it again!
Kartik in Ghai’s film?
Kartik Tiwari’s second film has yet to release but seems the new kid-on-the-bloc has apparently impressed Subhash Ghai. The veteran filmmaker who is casting for his film has shortlisted Kartik for his film. Ghai, who is presently on a hunt for the female lead, has already finalised Rishi Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty for the film.
