Los Angeles: Brushing all the rumours that a new actor may replace Harrison Ford in the fifth 'Indiana Jones' movie, filmmaker Steven Spielberg said no one else can play the titular role except the Hollywood veteran.

The 69-year-old director, who helmed all four previous films in the franchise, confirmed that a fifth Indy flick is
in the works with Ford, 73, in it, reported People magazine.
"I don't think anyone could replace Harrison as Indy, I don't think that's ever going to happen," Spielberg said.
"It's certainly not my intention to ever have another actor step into his shoes in the way there have been many actors that have played Spider-Man or Batman. There is only going to be one actor playing Indiana Jones and that's Harrison Ford," he added.
