Striking a chord

Given the chance and Actor Sonu Sood loves to strum a few numbers on the guitar for his friends and family, he spoke to CS about his past-time:

>>u00a0I have been playing the guitar since my engineering college days at Nagpur. Most engineering students are very inclined towards music, and I too wanted to learn an instrument.

>> I love the guitar because it's a stylish instrument to hold. As a movie buff, I loved the style in which Feroze Khan held the guitar in Jaanbaaz, during the start of the song 'Har Kisi Ko Nahi Milta'. But while learning the instrument, I realised that most of our actors held it in the wrong position, which was funny.

>>u00a0In my initial years, I used to practise a lot and had mastered tracks like 'Sanson Ki Zaroorat Hai Jaise' (Aashiqui), Chehra Hai Ya Chand Khila Hai (Sagar) and many RD Burman songs. Now I have lost some of my flair, as I don't get the time to practise.u00a0u00a0

>>u00a0However in my movie, Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi, I played the role of a musician and there I actually played the instrument. I am planning to start learning again. Music is a great stress-buster and everyone should know how to play at least one instrument.
