Canada is consistently ranked by the UN as one of the best country in the world to live and study. Tuition fees for international students are also low in Canada. Students can choose from a large number of universities, colleges and technical institutes.
Upon graduation, students are allowed to work full time in Canada for one to three years. Says Kamat, "Canada welcomes international students and gives opportunities for permanent residency to qualified students.
It is also a very safe place." Canadian study permit rules have been simplified for Indians. Visa-processing time has been reduced for institutions that are participants under the Student Partnership Program (SPP). Students need to submit very few documents. Even bank loan is accepted by Canadian High Commission.
