Superstition has it...

We all know the strange quirks and superstitions that drive Bollywood. From breaking nariyals at launch parties to walking or crawling to Siddhivinayak or Tirupati before a film release all filmwallahs are deeply religious.

Delnaaz Paul, TV actor

Shefali Shah, actor

Singer/actor/music director Himesh Reshamiya recently said that he wanted Radio to release on a Thursday (Dec 3) as opposed to a Friday because the date is supposed to be lucky for him. Well, we hope it is. CS gets other celebs to talk about their superstitions too:

Sushma Reddy, actor/model

I'm not superstitious, but I do have my quirks. Every time before my flight takes off, I say a short prayer. However I don't pray for safety, I just thank God for blessing me with so much in life. I'm just scared that if anything happens to me, I might not get a chance to say a big thank you to Him.

Bobby Darling, actor

I'm very deeply superstitious.

I can't even think of eating anything in the morning before offering it to my gods. I start my day with puja. I'm scared that things will go wrong if I don't pray in the mornings.

I also fast every Thursday. I've been doing this since the last six years.

Delnaaz Paul, TV actor

I'm not overly superstitious to the point of worrying when a black cat crosses my car. But I do believe that I should work on my birthday or Diwali to ensure that I always have work on my plate throughout the year. It's funny because people want chutti on these special days, but I want to get down to work.

Shefali Shah, actor

I walk to Siddhivinayak from my house in Juhu before the release of my film. I don't do this because I'm superstitious, but because I feel good about it.
