When the trailer of the film 'Torbaaz' was released months back, everyone was excited to see glimpses of Sanjay Dutt playing cricket with small children. Well the movie is finally released on Netflix and we must say Sanju Baba has chosen a perfect script. It is a story of hope which will bring tears to your eyes.
Torbaaz is a story about child suicide bombers in Afghanistan, who have been trained to believe that killing the enemy is a virtue and glory in afterlife. The film follows a story of a man who transforms the lives of these kids in these camps with the help of cricket. Yes, the game of cricket turns out to be a game changer for the lives of these small kids.
Sanjay Dutt is seen essaying the role of an army officer in the film. The film also features Nargis Fakhri, Rahul Dev, Pransh Chopra and Humayoon Shams Khan. The child actor who plays Chota Sadiq will blow you up with his acting skills. This action thriller is directed by Girish Malik.
The end credit tells us about the tough circumstances faced by the children in Afghanistan and many players from Afghanistan Cricket team must have emerged out facing these turmoil situations. The story in itself is so inspiring.
Kudos to Netflix for giving opportunities to new filmmakers to try something different and bringing somthing unique on the palatte. 'Torbaaz' is one such opportunity and Sanju Baba playing a game of cricket with those small kids is definetly a well planned experiment. You will love the film for its emotions.
All in all, Torbaaz is a story that is new with a beautiful message.
