Where there's a will, there's a way

Here's a film with a cross cultural appeal. Produced under the banner of Ruby Pictures, Will To Live, is an Indo-American production which has been shot extensively in California and the dense jungles of India. A score of Hollywood and Indian filmmakers have been involved in the making of this film.

Inspired from a true story, Will To Live is the fight of a courageous father for his ailing son suffering from Lymphoma (cancer). Against all odds, the American father makes his adventurous journey into the jungles of Himalayas in the quest for a rare herb that may cure his son's cancer.

Bollywood bonanza
Says Amrit Das, producer, "I have already produced a number of TV shows for the US and Indian market. I have made Bengali films but Will To Live is our first Hollywood / Bollywood film. As a global entrepreneur, I believe that one day, the Bollywood industry will take over Hollywood and India will dominate the world entertainment business."

Directed by Charles Sleichter and Paul Emami, the film's star cast includes Geoffrey Broderick, Anusha Singh, Erik Altemus, Tara Emerson, Arjun Chakraborty, Subhasis Mukherjee and Pallavi Chatterjee.

Music mania
Since music is the soul of Bollywood films, our very own Bappi Lahiri has created a perfect fusion of Western and Indian music for Will To Live. Says Das, "International singer MC Hammer has composed and sung the title song of the film. Other voices are of Asha Bhonsle, Sunidhi Chouhan, Kumar Sanu, Sharon Prabhakar, Reema Lahari and Mamta Sharma. For the first time in India, English and Hindi songs have blended together in one album." Made in English and Hindi, Will To Live releases on August 12.
