Zayed's wild side

Zayed Khan is quite a daredevil. Even before he jumped from buildings and on moving cars for Blue, he's enjoyed quite a few encounters with danger. On the day of his mega-release, Zayed relives five adventures that he's been a part of:

Who: Zayed khan
What: Showing his love for living on the edge
Where: On his office terrace

1. Dip in the water
In school, I once went river rafting with a bunch of boys to Hrishikesh. While our instructor was away, we decided to take off on the raft. We were young, debonair and delusional. Sadly, none of us knew how to steer through the rapids. Needless to say, our raft capsized into the water. Our instructor was mad at us and our bravado wasn't much appreciated by anyone.

2. Kite flight
I remember I'd gone kite surfing once to South Africa. I knew how to go forward and just kept at it. Then I suddenly realised that I didn't know how to turn. My heart must have been beating at 200 beats per second. Here I was moving forward without knowing how to turn. I finally had to swim back a mile.

3. Dive dare
I went cliff diving to Antibes in South France. There was a trekking path where kids as young as 10 would go diving. I was very fascinated and thought that I could easily pull it off. Minutes later, I had a reality check.

4. Ski sick
I've learnt skiing and so I confidently set outu00a0 on a snowy track. The Green Diamond is the easiest course, and I had mastered that. I was doing the red now, that has a slope gradient of 40 per cent and is higher up on the difficulty scale. I kept falling and getting up was really hard since I felt 20 kgs heavier in the gear. It was really embarrassing because there were kids around me who seemed like professional skiers.
