Director's cut
My first Hindi film will go on the floors in the next two-three months. I am very excited as it is the first commercial Hindi film that I will be directing. It's a college drama with a lot of romance, comedy and action. I have directed a Bengali movie before- 'Lal Paharer Katha' that got me the best director award at the Osian Film Festival. It was a story about the dying art of Chhau dance. I am also choreographing films like Patiala House, Action Replay, Jaane Kahan Se Aayee Hai in the coming year.u00a0
Down but not out
I fractured my leg while conducting the auditions for a reality show in Kolkata. The initial two weeks were a torture. I could not move freely, and travelling was a nightmare. But I had to work because I had made prior commitments. My injury is a lot better and I am now dancing with my cast on.
Dancing guru
I specialise in western dances like hip hop, popping locking, krumping, b-boying, street dance as well as few ethnic Indian dances.
