Kartik Aaryan
If the industry grapevine is to be believed, Kartik Aaryan has been shown the door once again. The actor is out of Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment production, 'Goodbye Freddy'. It is said that Aaryan wanted the film’s script tweaked to suit his requirement. 'Section 375' (2019) director Ajay Bahl is helming the film, co-starring Katrina Kaif. Last month, Aaryan was ousted from Karan Johar’s production 'Dostana 2'. Though KJo and Aaryan have preferred to keep mum about what went wrong, there has been ample speculation, including creative differences and his alleged fallout with 'Dostana 2' co-star Janhvi Kapoor.

Collin D’Cunha’s directorial venture was in the news after Kartik Aaryan was dropped from the film, starring Janhvi Kapoor and television actor Lakshya. Earlier, without taking any names, Dharma Productions issued a statement about Kartik's replacement in the film. "Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence - we will be recasting 'Dostana 2', directed by Collin D'Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon," the statement from Dharma read.
Kartik is busy with his upcoming horror-comedy 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' where he features alongside actors Tabu and Kiara Advani. The film is a follow-up to the 2007 film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' and is slated to hit the theatres in November this year. Kartik would also be seen in the film 'Dhamaka' which would be released on OTT. The Ram Madhvani's thriller 'Dhamaka' has Kartik slipping into the character of a news anchor reporting a hard-hitting tragedy of a bomb blast. Kartik Aaryan portrays Arjun Pathak caught in the whirlwind of abidance to his career and awakening the humanist within. The film is scheduled for an OTT release soon.
