Akshay Kumar helps dancers by providing them with ration kits

Akshay Kumar has come to the rescue of background dancers and junior choreographers, who have been hit hard due to the lockdown in the state that has led to the halting of film shoots. The superstar is providing them with ration kits. Veteran choreographer Ganesh Acharya approached the star with the request, who readily agreed. Acharya is distributing the foodstuff through his foundation.


Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay had been shooting for his upcoming movie 'Ram Setu' with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha. 'Ram Setu' is being helmed by Abhishek Sharma. Apart from 'Ram Setu', the actor has several other exciting films in the pipeline including 'Housefull 5', 'Bachchan Pandey', 'Atrangi Re', 'Bell Bottom' and 'Sooryavanshi'.


In case you missed it, Akshay Kumar was tested positive for Covid-19 after Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Govinda, Aditya Narayan, Rupali Ganguly, Kartik Aaryan and Aamir Khan among others earlier this year.


Akshay Kumar had been working through the lockdown, and he was the first to be back on the set during the lockdown. Last May, he shot for a virus awareness campaign with R Balki, followed by the shoot of Bell Bottom in August. Kumar is awaiting the release of Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. He also has Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re, Farhad Samji-directed Bachchan Pandey and Yash Raj Films project Prithviraj in the pipeline.
