In what was touted as one of the most eagerly awaited collaborations in Bollywood, director Anees Bazmee and actor Shahid Kapoor were all set to team up for the uproarious comedy film, "Double Trouble." Fans and industry insiders alike were buzzing with excitement when news of this partnership first broke.
Initially, the film was slated to commence production in August 2023, but unfortunately, the project took an unexpected turn when creative differences between Anees Bazmee and Shahid Kapoor came to light. The promising project seemed to be on the rocks. In a recent interview with News 18, Anees Bazmee confirmed the disheartening news – "Double Trouble" has been put on hold indefinitely. Although he remained tight-lipped about the exact nature of the dispute with Shahid Kapoor, he did reveal, "I’m not doing the film with Shahid Kapoor."
