Anushka Ranjan joins mid-day.com as we unveil the beauty and makeup favourites of the stars with 'Vanity secrets.'
Your favourite makeup product? I love to contour and use the Urban Decay powder set.
The first makeup product you bought as a teenager? I&rsquo;m sure it had to be Kajal. Back then it was fashion to have a dark under eye Kajal&nbsp;
The product you wanted to steal from your mom or sister? My sister has a lot but I&rsquo;m not big on skin care so I usually always steal her lip balm. Growing up I&rsquo;m sure every girl did this but stealing your moms lipstick was the best.
Your skincare routine? I use a face wash by Uriage and use a thick layer of moisturiser.
How did you learn to look after your skin and do makeup correctly? I guess Huda beauty and Kim Kardashian really inspired me. I like the dark eyes and heavy contour look.
The items one will also find in your makeup kit? Contour kit, Huda eye shadow palettes, Est&eacute;e Lauder concealer and foundation and nude Huda lipstick .
Makeup or skincare goof ups from the past?
Make up goof ups are too many to count. I had a goth phase so that&rsquo;s something I look back and regret.
The makeup trend you wish to try? I usually experiment constantly but haven&rsquo;t tried bright neon eyes yet.
The makeup product you would never be caught wearing? I&rsquo;m very open to trying everything. Don&rsquo;t think I&rsquo;ll say no to anything.
The lipstick or eyeshadow shades that are your favourite? Huda lipsticks and eyeshadows are my favourite.
The makeup trick that always works for you? Using contour powders directly without a foundation. It makes my skin look clear like I&rsquo;ve done a full face.
The skincare tip that always works for you? Heavy moisturiser before bed and Vaseline on the lips.
