Rumours around Anushka Sharma's second pregnancy are rife. An official confirmation from her and Virat Kohli is awaited. However, excited Virushka fans are keeping a close eye on the developments around the rumoured pregnancy. Amid a strong buzz, a video of Anushka and Virat went viral on the internet which made netizens believe that 'Jr Sharma-Kohli' is on the way.

In the viral video, Anushka can be seen dressed in a loose black short dress. She was with Virat at a hotel in Bengaluru. One Virushka fan commented on the video, "She is complete pregnant. I think they will announce after wc. god bless my favs (sic)." Another fan wrote, "Exactly same she looked during her first pregnancy."

In September, a Hindustan Times report quoted a source close to the couple. The statement read, "Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage." Another source shared that Anushka visited a clinic in Mumbai with Virat and made a special request to the paparazzi to not make their pictures public. Reportedly, they confirmed an official announcement soon.
A while later, Virat returned to Mumbai from his ODI World Cup warm-up fixture against the Netherlands. Reportedly, he flew down to be with Anushka by citing a family emergency as the key reason for the unexpected travel.
Anushka and Virat tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at a private ceremony at Borgo Finocchieto in Tuscany, Italy, on December 11, 2017. In 2020, Anushka announced her pregnancy. Sharing an adorable picture, she wrote, "And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021." On January 11, 2021, the couple was blessed with a daughter named Vamika. They are yet to officially share her pictures on social media.
Amid reports of Anushka's second pregnancy, Virat said in an interview with Wrogn, a youth fashion brand co-owned by him, "She (Anushka) always told me if you know you are standing by the truth then you don’t have to worry about anything because the path will carve itself out and things will always be clean and separated."
He added, "Seeing her become a mother was amazing, but I also saw what it takes to become a mother. Just the way she has handled everything, she has shot a whole film in between that, it is astonishing. That is when you realise the strength of a woman properly."
