Shiv Thakare has come across as one of the biggest underdogs in the entire season of Bigg Boss 16. The former Bigg Boss winner who was lauded on several occasions by the show's host, not once but on several occasions for his chivalrous conduct but also for his effortless game which includes no malicious practices or frivolous agitation.

In the recent episode, Bigg Boss introduced the ration task wherein 7 baskets of ration including toiletries were sent in for the inmates which they had to earn by not reacting on the letters sent to them by their family members. On receiving three strikes, one basket would get cancelled. All the previous housemates couldn't control their emotions but when Shiv's letter was read in front of him, the former Bigg Boss winner did not get perturbed at all. Not just that, but two masked people who walked inside the house tried several other things to get reactions from people, for example - Eating chicken by sitting right beside Shalin or throwing away Ankit's and Priyanka's clothes in the open!

Despite him getting overwhelmed, The former did not react at all resulting in him winning one basket of ration for the entire house! Despite all the circumstances, Shiv emerged as one of the toughest contestants inside the house and has time and again proved his mettle as a deserving candidate. After Shiv was done, It was Priyanka's turn who laughed and lost the task making Shiv the only contestant who remained poised during the entire task.
