Touted to be the most expensive film of the year (at reportedly R450 crore), the Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson-starrer is a sequel to director S Shankar's 2010 film, Enthiran. Rajinikanth reprises the role of Dr Vaseegaran and his creation Chitti, the robot. Kumar plays his powerful nemesis. The Khiladi is said to have 12 different looks in the thriller with Jackson playing a mutant. The film will be a blend of science fiction and human drama.
