Producer Boney Kapoor recently appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show with his daughter and actress Janhvi Kapoor to promote their upcoming film `Mili`. This is the first time that the father-daughter duo has collaborated on a project. Boney Kapoor has been producing films from the 80s and has popular films like `Mr. India`, `Pukar`, `Company`, and `Wanted`, among others to his credit. 

On the show, Boney Kapoor addressed the issue of Hindi films not performing as well as South films. Sharing his view on it, Kapoor said that South filmmakers have a passion that the Hindi film industry had till the 90s. He also spoke about how actors are more focused on the number of days that they have to put in for shooting rather than the story and the film.
