Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer "2 States" is in its second week and it has raked in about Rs.70 crore at the domestic box office. Close on its heels is &ldquo;Revolver Rani&rdquo;, which came out this weekend.
&ldquo;Samrat &amp; Co.&rdquo; and Subhash Ghai&rsquo;s &ldquo;Kaanchi&rdquo; haven't struck the right chord yet.

According to sources, &ldquo;2 States&rdquo;, which released April 18, has earned Rs.69.83 crore net in the country.
Based on a bestseller by author Chetan Bhagat, it is directed by first-timer Abhishek Varman.
&ldquo;&lsquo;2 States&rsquo; is still leading. Among the new releases, &lsquo;Revolver Rani&rsquo; is doing the best. It has minted approximately Rs.3.25 crore in two days. &lsquo;Kaanchi&rsquo; has collected about Rs.1.25 crore and &lsquo;Samrat &amp; Co.&rsquo; must have earned not more than Rs.50 lakh,&rdquo; Rajesh Thadani of Multimedia Combines told IANS.
Though Kangana Ranaut-starrer &ldquo;Revolver Rani&rdquo; has done relatively better than the other two films that released April 25, the movie's performance at the box-office is not as good as her previous film "Queen".
&ldquo;The buzz wasn&rsquo;t that great. Even the songs are not good and promotions didn&rsquo;t create much hype,&rdquo; said Thadani.
Tagged as a &ldquo;complete B-grade entertainment&rdquo; by its producer Tigmanshu Dhulia, the film presents Kangana shooting guns and acting more like a male hero.
While &ldquo;Samrat &amp; Co.&rdquo; shows Rajeev Khandelwal as an investigator in the detective movie, women empowerment-based &ldquo;Kaanchi&rdquo; is Ghai&rsquo;s directorial after six years.
