Four Hindi releases last Friday - 'Tamanchey', 'Jigariyaa', 'Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami' and 'Spark' - struggle to find takers even as 'Bang Bang' and 'Haider' collections slow down

Despite favourable reviews, Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami has collected only a few lakhs
Box office collections took a nosedive in the weekend gone by as the four Friday releases last Friday bit the dust at the ticket windows. Tamanchey, Jigariyaa, Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami and Spark have failed to lure the audience to theatres.
Despite favourable reviews, Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami has collected only a few lakhs
Exhibitor Rajesh Thadani said, "The total collection of the four films is only about Rs 2.5 crore. Tamanchey and Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami have collected the major share, around Rs 1 crore, while the other two have managed to collect only a few lakhs."
Meanwhile, Bang Bang and Haider, which released on October 2, continue to do good business, although it is a tad slow. Trade analyst Amod Mehra said, "Haider had a slow start at the box office and picked up gradually. However, that film and Bang Bang saw a major drop in the last week. They still have to do a lot of business to enter into the safe zone.
