'Amitabh Bachchan’… sirf naam hi kaafi hai or as they say, ‘the name says it all’! Today is his grand 80th birthday. Needless to say, that, like every year, this year too, will be full of non-stop activities which his fans and well wishers have planned out to celebrate his birthday. One such activity has been organized across India, wherein the ticket cost of his film ‘Goodbye’ has been priced at Rs. 80.

Who isn’t his fan! Just like anyone else, I am his fan forever. From ‘Kala Pathar’ to ‘Satte Pe Satta’ to ‘Deewar’ to all his films and the magic he has created in this industry, I would like to go and see it all once again. I am so happy that the price of ticket has been kept at Rs. 80, which makes it affordable for everyone to see the magician in action… over and over again.

Amitabh Bachchan’s brother Mr. Ajitabh Bachchan, happens to be a very good friend of mine. So, whenever we meet, we take a trivia from him about how they were as kids and some interesting stories. He told us about the accident incident and how strong Mr. Bachchan is mentally and physically, how he bounced back from the major internal injury. I don’t know if there’s a single person in this country who doesn’t know Amitabh Bachchan and doesn’t worship him. There’s one film of his which I love the most is ‘Satte Pe Satta’, it was the movie which came when we were in our college, I guess. It’s a great concept to have the tickets priced at Rs. 80.

Today, is Mr. Bachchan’s 80th birthday. Besides being my father's friend and doing a lot of films with him, I am a very big fan of the man himself. I’ve met him on multiple occasions, interacted with him and also did a Parker pen advertisement with him. I had a great experience of working with him. I love all of his movies, especially ‘Namak Halal’, ‘Satte Pe Satta’. Not only because my father was also there, but it was a great film. I would definitely love to go and watch all his films. I want to tell those few who haven’t seen Amitabh Sir’s movie in the theatres to please go and watch these films because it’s going to be a once in a lifetime experience. My message for Amitabh ji is that, ‘I want to pray to God to bless you with good health, lots of success, and you keep Entertaining and inspiring us every day, Amit Uncle. Always be the charismatic, amazing human being you have been and wish to celebrate another 100 years of yours. Happy birthday Amit Uncle’. I simply love the concept of having the film’s tickets priced at Rs. 80.

It’s really a great idea to have the tickets of his film priced at Rs. 80. It’s a big thing for our country to have a true legend like Amitabh sir with us and all the people who love him and inspire to be like him one day. He’s a very humble man. He’s the only man I think who hasn’t had any controversies or anything. Earlier, when he had met with an accident, with people’s blessings, he bounced back. Today also, he’s working with so much love towards his work. He never gets tired. He inspires us all. He’ll always be the greatest of all. Obviously, a grand celebration on his birthday is a must. All of his movies like ‘Satte Pe Satta’, Zanjeer',  ‘Namak Halal’ are his best films. I wish to God that he stays healthy like this always and lives a very long life. There’s a spark in him which makes us fall in love with him every time. I believe KBC would have never got the fame if it wouldn’t have Mr. Amitabh Sir. There’s no one in this industry who can beat him. He’s the best and a superb hero. Happy birthday Sir.

Rs. 80 is an awesome concept, whoever has thought about it. Out of all the films being shown in this festival, I would like to watch ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. It's an all-time classic! I was a kid when I watched it on TV and watching it again on a big screen would be a much better experience. The small details which I must have missed on a TV screen will be clearly visible on a big screen. It’s a classic multi-starrer that has comedy, action, drama, great music and the outstanding performance of Mr. Bachchan which takes the film to another level. On his birthday my message for Mr. Bachchan is that he should keep doing great work as always because we love watching him onscreen playing different characters. At the same time, he should not ignore his health and fitness. Here’s wishing him a very happy 80th Birthday!

I was so happy when I heard the concept of tickets being priced at Rs. 80 which is more like a gift to all his fans all over. Amitabh Bachchan sir is one person whose birthday should be celebrated nationwide. My favourite movie of all time is ‘Chupke Chupke’ and I missed watching it on-screen but would love to see it now. A very Happy Birthday sir. Here’s wishing you a long, happy, healthy and blessed life. He makes 80 looks like 50! Hats off to him. More and more success to him.
