Here's how Keith and Rochelle are ringing in the festivities

Celebrity couple Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao are all set to ring in the festivities for Christmas 2022 and mid-day.com dropped by their house in Goregaon to join in the celebrations.

Speaking about the theme this year, Rochelle said, "First week of December is the time to get everything out and up and see what decor ideas we want to try. This year I've done a boho-chic Christmas tree and Keith had no idea what that was. The idea was to steer away from the old school tinsel and add a two-tone light. We have an action packed calender this time. We just had 'Prabhu Yeshu Janmotsav' and we will be travelling for our shoot. The weekend is full of lunches, dinners and Church on Sunday."
Moving on to food and goodies, Rochelle said, "These things were part of our schedule when we were younger. The mums and grandmums would make kalkals and start soaking the cake 2 months in advance. We went for the cake mixing this year." Keith adds, "We were invited by hotels but that is a part of tradition that is slowly fading away, where the family got together a month in advance to soak the mix in rum and other preparations for the Christmas cake."

The couple who hosted 'Prabhu Yeshu Janmotsav' went on to share the experience with mid-day.com, as Keith said, "Everyone's focussing on the Christmas tree which is lovely and Santa Claus that is the commercial aspect of Christmas but everyone forgets the reason we celebrate the festival is-birth of Christ. We had this big event at Girgaon Chowpatty and it's one of the three events that are allowed to be celebrated there. There were 15 thousand people in attendance."
