While our men in blue lost the world cup to Australia, off the field saw some heartwarming moments. Among them was Shah Rukh Khan`s simple gesture for veteran singer Asha Bhosle. The superstar along with his family including his wife Gauri Khan and kids Aryan, Suhana and AbRam attended the final match between India and Australia in Ahmedabad.
During the match at one point, Shah Rukh Khan was seen seated between BCCI President Jay Shah and veteran singer Asha Bhosle. After noticing that Bhosle was holding an empty tea cup, Khan asked her to hand it to him. Initially reluctant, Bhosle gave it to him on his insistence. As Khan stood up to go and keep the cup back, a staff member arrived and took it from him. This small gesture of kindness and respect for his elders won the hearts of Indian audience watching the match. The clip soon went vial with fans lauding SRK`s humble nature.
