A section of Bollywood celebs travelled to their hometown Deli to cast their vote in the ongoing sixth phase of the Lok Sabha Election 2024. Sidharth Malhotra, Esha Gupta, and Chitrangda Singh were among those who were spotted at their respective booths flaunting their inked finger.

Delhi boy Sidharth Malhotra did not forget to fulfill his duty as a responsible citizen. He jetted off to his hometown to cast his vote. Sidharth took to his Instagram handle to share his photo.

He can be seen dressed in a white shirt and sunglasses in his cute selfie. "Came to my hometown, Delhi, to celebrate the world's largest democracy by voting, Delhi, go out 'Vote' #DelhiVoteNow #VoteForIndia," he captioned his post.

Esha Gupta travelled from Madrid to Delhi to cast her vote. “Ever since I turned 18, I have voted only from Delhi. I don’t know why I never bothered changing my address to Mumbai. Delhi is home. It is also out of habit... it is like a ritual for all of us (her family) to go together to cast our vote. We come back, eat together, discuss politics,” Esha told ETimes.

“I truly feel it is really important, you can’t complain if you are not doing anything about it. Ever since I landed in Delhi earlier this week, politics is the only thing we have been discussing amongst friends and family,” she added.

Actress Chitrangda Singh on Saturday fulfilled her civic duty by casting her vote. Chitrangda took to her Instagram stories on Saturday and shared a picture dressed in a colourful kurta, proudly displaying her inked finger and smiling at the camera. The actress captioned the image: “Go exercise your most important right.” and added the sticker “Voted”.

The sixth phase of Lok Sabha polls includes eight seats in Bihar, all 10 seats in Haryana, one seat in Jammu and Kashmir, four in Jharkhand, all seven seats in Delhi, six in Odisha, 14 in Uttar Pradesh, and eight in West Bengal. A total of 889 candidates are in the fray.

The Lok Sabha elections will be completed on June 1 after the seventh phase of polls in which voters from 57 constituencies will exercise their franchise. The results will be declared on June 4.
