Dostana 2: Dharma Productions to replace Kartik Aaryan for this reason?

Kartik Aaryan has been ousted from Dostana 2, apparently for his unprofessional behaviour. He’s likely to be replaced soon by another actor.

Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor, and debutant Lakshya came on board for Dharma Productions’ Dostana 2 back in 2019. The film was announced as a sequel, as the name suggests, to Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, and Priyanka Chopra`s hit comedy. Aaryan and Lakshya were paired opposite each other as a couple. The film deals with the theme of homosexuality.
However, Aaryan has now been ousted from the film due to his apparent unprofessional behaviour. A source told mid-day, “It’s due to the creative differences that the production house and the actor didn’t get along. Aaryan wanted the makers to tone down the ‘homosexual’ angle in the narrative and wasn’t really supportive of Lakshya.”
