Farah Khan and Deepika Padukone
Actress Deepika Padukone was caught in a controversy after the makers of Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2 announced that they have dropped her from the film. Earlier this year, her exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit had also grabbed significant attention. Several reports claimed that her demands, including eight-hour workdays, a high salary, and a share in the film’s profits, did not sit well with director Vanga, which led to a controversial fallout. Now, filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan seemingly took a dig at Deepika’s reported ‘8-hour workday’ clause in her latest vlog once again.
In her latest vlog, Farah Khan was seen visiting Bollywood actor Rohit Saraf’s house with her cook Dilip. The actor shared that his mother appeared on camera for the first time on Farah’s vlog, and that she had made them wait for a year for this. Farah jokingly replied, “Haan itna time toh Deepika Padukone ne nahi lagaya mujhe haan bolne mein." Hearing this, Farah’s cook Dilip asked when Deepika Padukone would come to their vlog, to which Farah cheekily replied, saying she only shoots for 8 hours now, and doesn’t have time to come on their vlog.
