Sunny Deol has clarified that his Y-category security is not in the wake of his comments supporting the government over the new farm laws. Buzz was that the Central government has provided Y-category security to Deol of 11 personnel, comprising two commandos.

The actor-turned-MP tweeted that he was given the security cover in July after it was reportedly said that his statement that "people are trying to stir trouble and the matter should be kept between the farmers and the government," made him seek protection.
