Ajay Devgn in 'Bhuj: The Pride of India'
The Hindi film industry is slowly getting back on its feet with studios resuming work on their projects. Ajay Devgn is the latest actor who is set-bound to give the finishing touches to his pending project. The actor will resume shooting for Bhuj: The Pride of India on Monday at Film City in Goregaon, where a set has been erected.

“A major portion of the war drama, including the climax, was filmed in Hyderabad last year. Now, only a few action sequences are remaining. Director Abhishek Dudhaiya, with the help of a lean team, will shoot the scenes with Ajay, following which he can call it a wrap on his ambitious project. If all goes as per plan, the work will be completed in two days,” reveals a source.

Bhuj: The Pride of India, which also features Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi and Ammy Virk, is set during the 1971 India-Pakistan war and traces how 300 women from a village in Gujarat helped the Indian Air Force reconstruct the airbase that was destroyed in the bombings. Devgn plays the role of IAF squadron leader Vijay Karnik. mid-day reached out to Devgn’s team who confirmed the news.
