Be it a casual attire or a formal evening wear, the right piece of jewellery can make or break a look. If you don too many pieces, you may be unable to make an impact as none of the accessories will stand out. Play it down, and you won’t make a power-packed statement. Like model and television anchor Padma Lakshmi once said, “Jewellery should not upstage you. I pick one hot point on my body that I’m going to highlight. Choker
Remember those spiral plastic Goth-inspired choker bands we wore around the neck back in the ’90s? The history of this magnificent piece  originated in 1700s and continued through the French Revolution. Chokers sit snugly around the neck. “A chunky statement necklace elevates an ordinary dress,” says Ruchita Sharma, head of marketing, Swarovski India.
